Structural basis of transposon end recognition explains central features of Tn7 transposition system

Let us meet during the next IMol Science Club seminar in which we will be joined by Marcin Nowotny, the head of the Laboratory of Protein Structure at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw.

Prof. Nowotny uses structural biology to study enzymes handling nucleic acids. In his lecture, he will present how the bacterial TnsB transposase recognizes and cuts its DNA target, the Tn7 transposon.
