The International Scientific Board of IMol, chaired by the Nobel Prize laureate Phillip Sharp, will recommend candidates for Research Group Leaders at the meeting held on September 12-13, 2023.

Peter Walter is the Institute Director, Altos Labs Bay Area Institute of Science. He has recently retired from UCSF and HHMI and is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at UCSF and an HHMI Investigator Emeritus.

Through a real-life assembly of experts in molecular, cellular and structural biology, we aim to facilitate the discussion on the fundamental biological processes and organismal function in health and disease.
