IMol has been included as a partner in DECODES (Deciphering the Splicing Code in Human Disease), a new MSCA Doctoral Network bringing together leading RNA biology laboratories in the EU.
This outstanding European consortium is led by Prof. Marta Varela Rey with Prof. Maciej Cieśla coordinating this exciting initiative at our Institute.
DECODES will train 14 doctoral researchers to tackle one of the most fascinating questions in modern biology: how alternative splicing shapes human health and disease. By combining cutting-edge genomics, structural biology, computational approaches, and translational research, the network will uncover how splicing is regulated, how its disruption drives a variety of diseases from cancer, to neurodegeneration, to metabolic syndromes, and how this knowledge can be translated into new therapies.
Looking forward to the exciting science, collaborations, and training opportunities ahead!
