The Proteomic Core Facility (PCF) is a specialised laboratory dedicated to the analysis of complex mixtures of peptides and proteins by LC-MS/MS. The PCF provides services to both internal and external clients, utilising cutting-edge proteomic methods. This position concerns work at the PCF under the mentorship of a renowned specialist in the field.
Your responsibilities
- Maintenance of nLC-MS/MS equipment, including weekly maintenance operations: MS calibration and nLC solvent change
- Contact with the servicing company
- Conducting nLC-MS/MS measurements
- Keeping record of the nLC-MS/MS maintenance log book and the measurement log book up to date
- Raw data management
- Data analysis
- Preparation of samples based on available protocols
- Development/optimization of protocols
- Conducting basic training in sample preparation for coworkers at IMol
Our requirements
If you are:
- A chemist, a biochemist, or a biologist holding a PhD degree,
- Experienced in mass spectrometry,
- Communicative in English,
- Can-do person, proactive and problem-solving,
- Self-time management and organisation expert,
- Good with lab work and data sheets,
