Third EMBO Long Term Fellowship goes to IMol

For the third time, the prestigious EMBO Long Term Fellowship goes to IMol! Klaudia Maruszczak, a postdoc from the Chacińska lab, has just been awarded the stipend.

Mitochondrial dysfunction and resulting impairment of organellar biogenesis leads to a build-up of proteinaceous deposits in the cytosol of the cell. Klaudia will study the mechanism of formation, function and pathogenic potential of these cytosolic deposits.

Klaudia received the award due to:

✔ the excellence of her scientific contributions and performance,

✔ the high quality, scope, novelty and biological significance of the proposed research,

✔ the scientific achievements of the host.

Congratulations!
