Prof. Avi Schoeder will be the next speaker at the IMol Science Club. Our guest is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He heads the Laboratory for Targeted Drug Delivery and Personalized Medicine Technologies.
Avi will describe the fundamentals of nanotechnology design. Special attention will be dedicated to brain-targeted liposomes that enhance the delivery of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) across the blood-brain-barrier (BBB). This technology allows the intracellular and extracellular treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
